Course Design Institute Launch In-Person

Course Design Institute (CDI) is a 4 week asynchronous training conducted in entirely in Moodle. The training is geared for instructors who are:

Developing new fully online courses
Transitioning traditional course content from F2F to online
Updating existing online courses to ensure best practices in online course design are being met.

Participants will experience what it's like to be an online student while focusing on creating a learner-centered online course:

Analyze the course design approaches influencing quality online learning.
Developing learning objectives which are measurable, learner-centric, and suited to the level of the course
Develop assessments which foster student-instructor, student-student, and student-content interactions.
Examine the importance for organizing instructional materials, gradebook, and syllabus before course launch
